I dont keep up with the pro's when theyre that big its sick, That is total destruction of the humand body NO matter how you cut it. just my 2cents, that dont mean shit.

I'm not really a pro bodybuilding fan but I think Weider is a hypocrite. He claims to be anti-juice but his magazines don't feature ANY natural bbuilders. He claims to drug test at the Mr. O! What a joke!

Actually yes in many ways.........for instance the mags we all read. You will hear just as much good about the man as bad, just depends on the person. He has helped many, but on the other side of the coin many feel he hurt them. You have to remember that in bodybuilding it is a "what can you do for me " world.

yeah, he brough arnold into the limelight and arnold brought the sport of bodybuilding into the mainstream. i dont really follow competitive bodybuilding but i do respect the guys for their dedication. wieder's magazines are basically repetative, but in the begining they really helped me develope my training style and technique. is still buy a few mags throughout the year and pick up some new tips.

Well I know that he helped it become what it is today and that can be good or bad ......Depends on how you want to look at it....I personally feel he is a slimeball.

You have to remember that now he might seem or is a slimeball yet back in the day he was an innovator and maybe without him bodybuilding wouldn't be what it is today. His whole family use to live down my street.

Cure....I agree with what you're saying, but I think ALL the contest that he promotes are Fixed and I think he is largely responsible for the insane drug use in the IFBB.

If pro bodybuilding is going to gain a large following again there will have to be some changes made. The fitness competitors have a much larger following than the Female BBs. Why....its because of the look....

Not everyone has the appreciation of huge that we do.....

Weider's say "Weider's first' then the rest

Maybe the Weider's did something positive for the BB scene, but he wasn't into it for the benefit of us. He was and is in it for the money, his money.

And yes Joe Weider is a hypocrite.
