Does anyone here feel that Karma posts are wrong?

George implemented this system as a way to track the quality of peoples' posts. These threads seem like abuse of the system and in my opinion, should be erased or locked.

Let's get some debate going on here.

oh brotha........it all good!!! i think its ok cause it isnt like it gains us a thing. what i do think is quit funny is that newbies will go to boards that not too many people use and reply to all the threads for post numbers. but as far as the karma thing its ok.

I don't see there's any real debate in it. You either like it or lothe it. I know where I stand, I could'nt give a rats ass about it.
If it's worked in one case it's probably 'Cornholio' I've seen quality posts from corn in almost all the different boards on ef.com and at last count he had (I think) 11 karma points.

Thats not to say there's no more deserving member's here, he's just the one that comes to mind at this very moment.

At the start I used to check mine all the time, and to be honest when I seen this post it's the first time I've checked mine in 2 or 3 weeks.

Jeeze I check my testicles for lumps more than my karma !.
