Does a Deca cycle need Nolvadex?

I know that Deca doesn't aromatize as much as others, but If I am starting my first cycle of pure Deca at 300 mg/week for 10 weeks do I need to supplement with Proviron, Nolvadex, both or neither to help prevent gyno?

I already plan to use Clomid at the end, I'm just not sure how much to per day to take.


My stats are: 6'2"
185 lbs.

I am by no means a pro with roids..in fact I'm waiting for my gear to begin my 1st cycle as well.
Deca 300 + Susty 250 for 10 weeks
50mg Winny tabs at the end + clomid therapy once it's all said and done.

From what I've been told and researched it's always good to have some novodex on hand just in case. Just beacuse I don't get gyno from 300 deca doesn't nessacarily mean you won't.

But just to be sure, wait for someone more expierenced to give there $0.02.

you dont need nolva for 300mg/week, but if you are very sensitive its better to have them laying around if you should need them

you should have it just to be safe, it's like taking a rubber with you on the first date, you don't know if you'll need it, but you'll be glad you had it, especially if i tagged her!!!! good luck bro....

Nolva won't combat progestrone sides caused by deca.. ur best bet would be too have winny on hand(some say it works) or RU486
