Doctor's office dilemma...

need a bit of advice here.. my doctor took my BP and it was insanely high today and my heart rate was around 150 sitting... ok i am using t3 while on my cycle and i know it is causing this, however i didn't want to say anything to her about it. This aalso happens to be the time where i am at 100mcg on my cycle... so obviously it is causing my bp and heart rate increase, problem is she wanted me to get blood work done to test for thyroid, of all things... i know with the t3 my levels will be through the roof... any suggestions? I wil prolly just blow it off and call and make up an excuse.

First of all, you need to see a doctor that has a Y chromosome. Then, once you establish he won't write any notes in your file about it, tell him what you're on so he can tell you the risks you're taking.

I know the risks I am taking... i weighed my decisions to start this cycle very heavily... i just need to know how to get out of this.

Unless the doc is doing the workup for you job or something like that, its your call on what to do. You are the client, regardless of what they say or act, you can just fire her if she hassles you about a follow up.

I'd call and tell them you're busy with school/work or something and that you'll call them back and reschedule.

How long does it take for thyroid levels to go back down once you stop taking it? Also I wonder if taking propranolol with T3 would lower blood pressure without hampering the thermogenic effect.

150 bpm at rest? Damn, either you heard your doc wrong, or your one nervouse SOB lol j/k Mine is 43 bpm at rest... Although Im not on my cycle yet and I run track.

150 bpm at rest -- no way...

At 190 you are on the way out...

If your resting hb was 150 the doc would have put you immediately under observation in a hospital with the fear that you have a serious medical problem or a wicked coke/crack problem...

My training partner was on 25-75mcg of cytomel for about 6mo. last year, he competed in several shows, took his thyroid level about 5 weeks after getting off and his levels were back to normal range, so I would just rescedule about a month to six weeks post cycle and get the blood work done at that time.

it went down to 120 before i left the office... still fucked with my head a lil bit... yeah i will just not go back for a while... will go post cycle o see if any damage is done.

It seems to me its probably your anxiety kicking in. First, why were you at the doctor? If this is just a check up you should have known better. Nothing will be in the normal zone while chemically altering the body. If this is a serious health issue you have to deal with it and stop the drugs.
