doctor perscribed hrt question

this question is for everyone who gets hrt from a doctor (not self medicated). does your doctor also perscribe you hcg? if so, what doses are you told to take.

interesting. from what ive heard, hcg while on hrt is only to maintan fertility. if thats not an issue, that you don't need it. im nor sure how true that statement is, but thats what ive heard.

Yeah, I just told my doc that my nuts were shrinking and asked if he can write me a perscription for hcg.. he had no idea how to dose it so he had to bust out his PDR -- he gave me 10,000iu of Novarel with 4 refills over the course of a year.. I'm going to stock up :)

I think most doctors, the males ones, at least, would be sensitive to the plight of a man suffering testicular shrinkage. You could tell the doctor that your disappearing nuts are affecting your self-esteem in the bedroom and ruining your sex-life. Even the female ones should not be insensitive to that argument.

You know there is another board here at elite fitness dedicated to this subject?

For once I am not being a smart ass, and it is very informative, most of the guys, and I assume it is guys are on medically prescribed HRT, and seeing anti aging MD’s

I posted there, and asked what does HRT stand for,

I think someone asked me to leave.

now thats funny.

I didn't realize there was a hrt fourm, but I think I got the info I need. ive been self medicating because doctors around me dont seem to care that my natural testosterone level is less than 300 before I ever done a cycle. I run it with 250iu of hcg twice a week to maintain my fertility/testi size.

I've been on HRT for just a few months and on my last visit my NP prescribed me HCG as well as Arimidex. However, my insurance does not pay for my HCG. :( I'm in the process right now trying to figure out what to do and how to mix it and how long will it last.
