Right before I did my first cycle I went to my doc for a physical and I told him I was going to try using steroids. I wanted him to know in case something happened to me or if he had a convincing reason why I shouldn't (actually I was hoping he'd prescibe them but that didn't happen!). He said that he was sure that I was aware that they were illegal and he could not say o.k. to it, but with that aside, I was in good health and that it probably would not have any negative affects on me. He also thanked me for telling him. He's really cool like that. Anytime I've gone to see him after that, he'll ask me if I'm on a cycle, how I'm feeling, etc... he now even sends me for bloodwork once in awhile to monitor me! I'd say wait like Yossarian2000 said so you will have a baseline to go by in the future AND if you're comfortable enough with your doctor you might want to consider telling him so he can monitor you.
