Do You Use Your Size As an Advantage in Crowds or are you still courteous?

On that cruise there was alot lines and alot of people to get through. Now alot times people will get out of your way just because we are bigger than the average joe but I could if I wanted could have like parted the people with brawn and size but I don't want people to think I was a jerkwad just because I am bigger than them.

What about ya'll do you use your size to get through crowds faster or not?

Lately I have added 7 lbs of mass and still don't use it to my advantage. I'm very polite especially with the ladies.
Dudes and Food lines beware though..

When they see my Outback Hat coming, they clear the way thinking I'm Crocodile Dundee..

I think if youre a big guy they public never sees you as courteous in this situation......thats how its been with me........i try not to get in anybodys "space" but i still end up elbowing a girls tit or stepping on a guys toe LOL

I'm polite for lines and what not. On the street I will take you out in a heart beat if you think I'm going to side step, think again.

no women no children...

some punk ass in a doo-rag who purposely doesn't move is gonna get the shoulder and a generic "oh sorry"

I used to love it when I would be in a Hotel Pool with my Daughter when she was little.

These young hooligans would come in and be horseplaying around us and get too close.

I was pretty good at accidently knocking them up side the head or in the ribs with my elbows and being oh so sorry after they went bitching out of the pool.

No, never and it pisses me to no end to see others doing so.
Just because your larger than average guy don't confuse that for invinceablity.

I figured im a little bigger than average but I am very modest in crowds,I find its the little 140lbers who act tough and push people,I generally move for women childern and most guys, but its the little wigger who expect me to move that I plow over

yeah - Im like wodin - it depends....I react to how I am acted towards....most of the time its cool.....but if I see someone coming my way...on my side of the walkway or whatever I usually do not flinch

I don't squeeze through many crowds anyway...

OH YES!! THE SIDE STEP!! you will not see me do this too often, even for a chick. this makes me very mad.

your just walking down the road, store or whatever (in a straight line) and someone comes around the corner and is in the same direct path as you. don't take this lightly kids, this is not a game of man chicken, this is for the servival of your rights, your straight path your man hood. a lot of this is mental, try to psyche out the incoming evil doer by exposing your lat's in a powerful manner, this attempt works 9 times out of 10 to a smaller opponent. but what do you do when your faced with someone larger than yourself? it's simple, do not back down, you have to stand your ground. your going to have to rely technique, and quickness. remember, it's better to fail trying to guard your straightness, than to simply side step.

I usually use both. I part the way all the while saying exuse me to those that seem cool. Those that are not get a little something extra.

I try to be very courteous.

I went to see a Powerman 5000/System of a Down/ Korn/ Kid Rock/ Metallica concert in St. Louis with a buddy and two of my little bros in July 2000. This is one case in which I completely used my size to be a jerkwad. I was already half drunk and there was a huge crowded line going on for hundreds of yards and temps were in the upper nineties. Everyone was waiting for the gate to open. I led my group through the crowd to the very front- damn, there were some pissed off people. Noone directly confronted me though, which was kind of surprising. :FRlol: It was early afternoon at that point and the people at the front had been waiting there since early morning to get their spots.

But like I said, I generally try to be a nice, polite feller. :elephant:

I try to be courtieous... but sometimes I just can't squeeze through groups of people and I brush against them... sometimes moving them further than they'd like... :)

And if you mean by saying "Excuse me" just before I lower my shoulder and run fast... then yeah, I'm pretty polite. :)
