What's up gang?

I was just curious as to how many of you track your food daily, and who just go by portions (ie. a fist full of protein, carbs, and good fats etc...)

i don't track.

After you've done it for a while... tracked EVERYTHING. You can estimate fairly well.

Although I'll start tracking again for awhile to get my base calories down pat and go from there...

Ya... I'm leaning more towards the guestimate idea... but only AFTER this 26weeks is up.. :)

on a cutting diet it's essential to at least track every so often to make sure... or if your seeing results that you like it's fine, but to fine tune... TRACK... simple as that.

I owe my success on my first cut to tracking everything... set rep morsel of food etc... that is what I needed to get the results I needed and get them in such a short amount of time, the healthy way.

i pretty much know everything i'm eating as it's usually the same thing almost everyday...but at first yes...i did track everything.

i made turkey chili last night and i just had to sort of guesstimate...so this i plugged in just out of curiousity

Nice... ya... it seems that tracking gets you results the quickest.. I'm a tracking NUT... I'm SO ANAL about it... but it's starting to get ridiculous... maybe I'll just take a break from everything for a week, then have at'r...

Tracking is important when you are looking for yoru baseline diet or cutting bodyfat. Maintaining, I have a general idea and don't worry about being overly concerned with getting exactly x nutrents.

I track, because I'm anal, & because if I don't things start to sneak in on me.
I actually have an excel Spreadsheet with calorice & macro content of everything I eat. If it's something I make, like spaghetti, I just enter the weights & it comes out with a total for the dish. Then my journal spreadsheet calculates the ratio of the amount I ate (100g, say) to the total weight. Took a long time to set up, but it's fast & easy now.

i'm a nutritional label nut. i'm actually getting tired of all this tracking.....but its getting easier every week.....and easier to remember if you don't toke up all day too.....:rasta:

I did track at first when cutting but since trying to bulk i just tend to eat more healthy carbs fats etc. I have a rough idea what i have in a day.

I track everything while on a cycle. It helps me throughout the day cause I can just look at my excel file and know where im at, at anytime during the day and where I need to be at the end of the day.

If anyone needs an excel file to track their intakes its in my sig.

do share it with us!!

I track to a point. When I'm bulking I have my core foods that I eat ed(steak, milk,ANPB,WW bread and pasta) which I eat enough to get 5000cals. Anything I eat on top of that I don't keep track and these are usually just junk cals(pizza, french fries, ribs, double cheeseburgers)
