do you tip when...

r u kiding, delivery has nothing to do with a tip.

im talkin bout tippin the delivery guy...i just ordered pizza from this place that charges $3 for delivery. when i didnt tip the guy, he looked pretty pissed

The 3$ doesnt go to him. He might get 1$, but probably not. The 3$ pays for company insurance etc...

I always tip a few dollars (3-5). If you dont feel like tipping then drive and pick the pizza up IMO.

I mean is it worth a couple extra bucks to stay home and work arounfd the house while a high school kid brings you a pizza? Good grief most of the time the kids are trying to pay for their insurance or save up for college or save up for a concert, so help out, dont be tight IMO.

Loosen the purse strings a bit IMO, or go pick it up your self.

The worst is when you're at a hotel and you have to get room cervix. They'll light you up for 20% and there's still a space to leave a tip.

even though they charge for delivery, you still need to tip. The delivery charge goes right into the profit of the seller, but the tip is what is really paying the delivery guy.

I alwasy tip.

Delivery guys $5. Especially the cheese steak guy. BOYA!

Now anytime they put in an 18-20% room service charge that is a tip. That will go directly to your server. There is no need to tip when this is in the bill @ a hotel.

good to know.

They still look at you like your Donald Fukin Trump, as if you are going to give them more of a tip. 18-20% for pushing the food to my room is plenty IMO.

Now I have tipped them before in addition to the automatic gratuity but it is not a rule. in fact, I rarely tip in addition to an automatic gratuity for large parties etc...

yeah I'd throw in a few dollars just b/c I thought they weren't getting all that gratuity.

I hate ordering room service.

is it impolite not to offer to walk the pizza delivery person back down to their car? i always feel rude just shutting the door on them.

i never tip, they are already getting paid to deliver the damn food, i see no need to tip. at a restaurant it is mandatory though.

and a server isn't getting paid to bring you your food? aside from refilling your soda and taking your order, the waiter walks probably at most 50 feet to bring you your food while a delivery driver sometimes drive 5 miles and risks car accidents and speeding tickets to get you four food while it's still hot.

fuck that.....all the places around here try to pull that bullshit delivery charge.

I order shit that cost like 4 bucks and they charge 3 dollas. Sorry for the delivery boy but the company he works for just took his tip.
