Do you think you are tough?

I am not a big guy.. but I am a badass.

I boxed for 4 years... I have had my ass whipped a few times.. I have arrived DOA once to the hospital.. and lived through that....

But you guys have never dealt with my ex-girlfriend.. that made me a man of steel.

but.. yes.. I know I am alot badder than the average bear... in the art of dueling fists.:rolleyes:
 
I consider myself a real "Avoid Conflict" kind of person...
What makes me tough is I keep the frustration of avoiding conflicts bottled up until someone pisses me off in just the right way and them Blam!

The only times in my life I have been TOUGH or used physical force against someone else was when they either attacked me or my family or interfered with my enjoyment of life.

Examples:
Twice I have been at concerts, up in the stands not down on the floor.
Drunks stand up in front of my wife and I.
One of them spills beer on us.
I calmly ask them to sit down.
Next he ends up falling down the stands.
He sits down the rest of the show.

Second time I do the same and when they give me the old FU look,
I get in his face and threaten to sit him permanantly down.

3rd time I'm drivin down the road and a young kid 19 or so is tailgatin me.
I pull over to let him by when I can, and he pulls off behind me.
He comes at me yelling about me not letting him by.
I take one or 2 shoves and then he gets one or 2 chin pops from me and ends up on the ground right on the side of a busy road.

I think those are the only 3 times I have been tough in my 38 years...

Sure but there is ALWAYS someone out there tougher, meaner, nastier, etc..... Plus why would you want to fight anyway.....someone is going to get hurt and I don't want it to be me.

Outgrew the fighting thing in college.

I wouldnt say im tough... maybe i can be at times. ... But im usually just the girl making everyone cry...started in kindergarden... when i ripped barbies heads off.. and then in high school when i used to stick thumb tacks to my emimies chairs .....uhm... does karate make me tough cuz i did that for a while.. :confused: and um i boxed for a month maybe lol, um.. okay okay i deal with wild horses everyday.. i think that says it all :)

Go on a 25-mile hump, with 75llbs of gear (that's pack and personal weapon) with Mortar bi pod 49lbs,or barrel 18lbs or base plate 19lbs or 6 round of HE 8.5 lbs apiece. Set up a gun pit, that’s dig a hole. Go on patrol, pop some shit head a new asshole in his forehead, come back, and provide fire missions? All in one day? That my friends is what tough is to me. Stick a knife in someone’s belly while they look at you, which is tough. Fist fight, big deal, anyone can throw a punch. Try taking a life...

Well, I can take a beating like no one's business. As for fighting, I'm a complete retard. I used to get in a lot of fights as a kid but now, I've mellowed out. I'd really have to just fight to see how good I am, though I doubt i'm any good.

At this point in my life, I'm not afraid of most guys, if that's the question.

especially not while intoxicated OR intoxicated and sitting down... some guy was yelling at me once right in my face and i freaked out and hit him... except i was really drunk and the punch was pathetic and i almost fell out of my chair... doh.

the first and last time i hit anyone... i'm really more of a pacifist anyway.

mentally i think i can keep it together longer than a lot of people... although i have cracked at times.
