Do you think everyone has a Soul?

i dont' think anyone has one.

Everyone except for the Clintons

And Im not sure about Wodin

define soul. it has a different meaning to different people.

I think the real question is, do human clones have souls.

And if you folks must remember one thing in this life you live, it's that no one puts Baby in the corner.

Now that is a interesting question there. But there really hasn't been a human clone yet has there?

I've heard rumors and seen actual pictures that the Russians have an entire army of Ivan Dragos ready to rumble. They will break us.

Well we should clone tyson he will either drive them crazy by talking their ears off or biting them off.

Well, I believe in ghosts, so I believe that something in us survives after death. If you want to call that the soul, then so be it.

However, I also admit that there is no factual proof of a soul or a heaven or any life after death of any kind. But then, just a few hundred years ago people believed that the Earth was flat and the sun revolved around us. Beliefs are fleeting, facts are concrete, and until we have answers supported by proof we will never truly know if the soul exists or not.

But I would like to believe that there is more to this life than just this. That I'll someday see friends long dead again, that someday I may get the chance to meet my great Grandfather, that I'll get the chance to watch my children grow old and have families of thier own, that I'll get to see peace on Earth and even the rest of the Universe. It would seem like an awful waste if I'm just here for 90 measly years of the Universe's infinite life and then gone forever.

Sounds like you need to believe in Christ to make all your dreams a reality.

America should clone The Shadow thousands of times, and then we'll see who's boss.

Show me proof that Jesus Christ was the son of God and not just Jewish royalty who became a martyr due to the Romans and OK, I'll beleive. My whole concept of wanting this life to be "more than it is" is just due to me being a hopeless romantic.

You're a hopeless romantic and you need PROOF that Christ was the Son of God? Doesn't make much sense.

Please explain, I don't understand the connection...

Well, it seems like you would want to believe that God's love was so great for His creation(us) that He would send His Son to die for our sins. Just like a Father sending his son off to battle to protect the kingdom. Where the scientific reason (the big bang then evolution then death) that we are here is so unromantic, boring and just plain stupid that it seems like you would lean toward the Biblical faith than the scienfic theory to why we are here and where we go when we die.

Note to Curling: just because someone believes humans have a soul does not mean they believe in God and the Bible. And just because someone is a romantic does not mean they are a Christian. One does not require the other.

I believe in ghosts because I have seen and experienced them first hand. The only way I can explain what I've witnessed is to assume that something survives after a human dies. Note that this has nothing to do with God, Jesus, the Bible, or the big bang. I haven't seen anything in my life to support the existence of a heaven after death, or that Jesus was the son of an all-powerful God. In fact the history of the Bible practically gaurantees that it is the work of man, not God, so any account of the hereafter in the Book is suspect.

I only know what I have seen, that ghosts are real, and my way of explaining that is to believe that there is a life (of some kind) after death. What that life is I have no idea, but if something lives on then I guess you could call that the soul.

I find it funny that you consider evolution and the big bang as stupid simply because they are unromantic and boring compared to the Bible. At least they are supported by facts, science, and evidence.

And as for my romantic notion of the hereafter, well that is just wishful thinking on my part. :D

I think there are actually humans out there that have no soul.

The "soul" is nothing more than the function of organic brain chemistry.

"My whole concept of wanting this life to be "more than it is"
