Do you still believe what is reported???

I have gotten to the point that I tend to disbelieve almost all news without proper documentation/proof.

People used to be more reluctant to spin fabrications in my opinion.

Being so skeptical sure does reduce the "excitement" of watching war coverage though.

The only news I will believe right now is the US news with the imbedded reporters. Al Jeesum and others pale by comparison.

Thanks for unlocking the thread. I could not imagine why it got locked in the first place.

Yea....I don't believe anything coming out of Iraq and I'm suspicous unless a reporter actually seen it happen.

Well, it is going to be a war of words for a while, the Iraqis saying we didn't capture this port or that city and us saying we did. The difference is we get to see first hand that we have and they are trying to keep their people pumped up for the pending attack by ground forces on Baghdad. I would do the same.

I lived through both Desert Storm and also Desert Shield. A lot of things that you see on TV are NOT to be believed. My mother and step father are still currently in Jeddah, Saudi.

Operation Iraqi Freedom has not really effected Saudi, but I am talking from experience from what I went through.

Simply put, what's on the news can only be only taken as a very small reference point to what exactly is happening. There are too many factors that causes the news to be inaccurate.
