What kinda music do you guys listen to while workin out .... Hard metal pumps me... but im not a big hard metal fan, and i really dont know many artist except metallica.

I know the feeling. I like slow music (Luther, Jaheim) and some hiphop (Talib Kweli, Common, MosDef) But get pumped by that other stuff you said.

depends on what i'm feeling that day. most days hip hop tends to get me going. a lot of days if I'm feeling more chill its the Dead or some old school rock.

Whatever they're playing on the XM Satellite Radio at the gym. Mostly I find it a distraction and I wish they'd turn it off. I'd be happy with the sound of clanking metal as I work out, but I guess most people these days can't survive without a constant musical soundtrack to their lives.

When I used to go the the gym I would make a serious effort to load my MP3 player with specific tracks to amp me up.

Now that I work out at home I just put my Windows Media player on random and play DJ if a poor lifting song comes up.

My MP3 player was one of the best investments I made when working out at a commercial gym though.

I'll listen to everything (thanks ipod). Go from Godsmack all the way to stuff like Enigma....very odd but I guess that's just my style.
