House shopping, that's what. Some of you fucks are just plain nasty how you live. Just a tip, if you're showing your home, take care of the 20+ piss/shit stains you acquired on your carpets from your faggot dogs. That is all discuss...

wife gonna buy you a house?
grow weed bro, can do hydro for about 2k and have a great new hobby

Try looking past shit like that bro, I know it sucks and is pretty gross but carpets are replaceable, things that matter are counters, kitchen space, illumination, windows, room size, bathroom layout, yard, etc

I know! Build. I hate other people's dirt, or any scratches on baseboards or dust on crown molding.

We've tossed that idea around but it's tough with how great the housing market is now a days, especially around here. It's tough not finding a +3500sqft home in a nice subdivision in our budget around here. We're staying conservative too to pay off loans asap. Why don't you use some of that generous 1% and send me a check. TYIA! :)

I do try to keep that in mind but fuck it's hard. I have a little OCD as does my lady friend. I just always think 'If they could give a shit about all these stains what's been neglected that isn't visible??'

I hated looking into building, you go see the model home and they give you a base price and then they say the counters in the model home are an upgrade and that bathroom is an upgrade and the cabinets, etc so you end up with a shit ton more in upgrades to the house

Have you ever seen property brothers? If you havent check it out, they show these shit holes and renovate it into amazing homes,of course people like us wont take on so much work, but it shows how to look for potential

No, I have never seen that show but it sounds like something I'd enjoy. I would love to flip houses but cannot imagine the amount of snags you'd run into.

i find jiz stains unsettling

Is this preference? My problem with older homes is obviously upkeep but also low ceilings, small rooms, no central air, enormous scary boiler rooms etc... I love their character though.

Indeed I have low ceilings :( and small guest rooms but I never have guests so fuck it, I actually live in the rich equestrian estate part of town, CEO of my company lives less than a mile away, super quiet and safe, I got a great deal

When I had sex with my first wife, after I dropped my load in her, we had to scoot to the edge of the bed together with me still inside so I could reach into the night stand and get out a towel.

Then we both arched up so I could slide the towel under her ass to catch anything that leaked out.

She was a little uptight.

wtf!

While dating my current wife, I pulled out and completely drenched her abs and chest. I said, "let me get you a towel"

She asked, "what for?" and wiped it off on my sheets.

I knew I had a keeper.

Yeah - that is my preference. Older houses are just built better and have more character. But mainly, I have mostly lived in dry climates so old neighborhoods are the only place to get nice trees which is huge with me.

You can get central heat and air if you are pier and beam. Could not live someplace without it down here.

I thought you were moving to Boulder?

I have about 7 oak trees, bitched shed so much :(

We decided to stay put due to some extenuating circumstances.

I hear ya on the character of older homes for sure. And neighborhoods with actual tree growth adds a significant amount of comfort IMO

about 7 oak trees? Is the number 7 so high you can't actually count them but must provide an estimate?
LOL I just cant fucking remember, there are several mature, several young and several sprouting from the fucking gutters cuz my husband hassnt gotten his ass up there to clean them

house shopping is just gross,I remember coming out of some places and feeling my skin crawl, when otherwise it looked like a damn nice house from the outside.

most of my area is mexican mennonites and man they cram a ton of people into small spaces. I just bought new and said fuck it.

I once went to see a house with bright pink carpet and funky green walls, the rooms did NOT have light! dumb asses installed ceiling fans on each room but not the kind with light, so you had to have lamps, WTF? so stupid....

I put an offer in on house one time that had yellow shag carpet and shiny aluminum foil type wall paper (was popular in the 70's). Pink and blue tile bathrooms - thing was a time capsule. But once you looked past all that, it was an architectural masterpiece. I ended getting a different house and an elderly couple bought the time capsule and didn't change a thing.

haha,I lived in a house like that as a kid. dumbest shit ever

My last 2 houses have been fixer-uppers that I flipped for a profit. I would probably give up on my current house if I thought I could sell it for decent a profit. I think the next house will just end up being some sort of brand new KB home with all the modern perks already installed. I'm getting too old and too lazy to do home improvement work anymore.

yeah, all that stuff is secondary and replaceable, I feel I chose well but I hate having just 1 bathroom  it's plumbed for a second one but that's more of a long term plan

Wait until you get into the vents and parts of the yard where they could hide dog shit. Last house I bought seemed great when it was showed to us, we moved in and the dogs room had everything come to the surface. Vents were blocked from kids and dogs pushing crap into the vents, the one bathroom was a pissfest, and they were putting the shit from their 2 danes in between my and my neighbor's fence. Like 300 lbs of it. Their realtor spent a decent chunk of her commission getting my place up to par. I was so mad I wanted to beat the fuck out of the dad that lived there.

Hannibal kept finding shit under the carpet 3 yrs later too. Like they put carpet down over dirty towels, diapers, etc. I hated that place. Loved the view.

The things other "human beings" do just blows my mind...

First things I did to the house was tear off the carpets...

Pets are great (dogs) when properly trained. You have to spend time with the animal, socialize it. I walk my dog everyday up and down these Pennsylvania trails. He loves it, we have a great time and it's good for burning calories. On a good day we would even chat it up with a couple good looking girl joggers. If you acquire the pet and then do nothing else with it ( like most people do) then it is going to act like an animal.
Dogs are smart people are stupid and lazy!
My dog is 6 months old now and he has never shit in my house 1 time.
It's always the people not the dog.

Not a single accident is pretty impressive, what's the breed?

Next time join the "high flyers" club and stand on the top of the stall walls when you drop your duece.

We only have like 3 ladies. They have their own private bathroom that all the dudes use. I remember our old CFO walked in a chick while she was using the bowl. That will teach her to lock the door.
