I was tempted to take today off as well (4 days weekend are always good), but my vacations account is dwindling and If I want to take 1 month off in December and 1 week in sommer I need to administer the days I have left.

Yes, here in Portugal it is a bank holiday, plus my employer made today a holiday as well so I have a 4 day weekend.

Last week here also 25 April is like their Independence Day, so not a lot of work is getting done lately in my office.
