let me be sure i did this right. you take your height (in my case 73") so i divide 227 by 73 right? if so then i'm over on all of them except the waist. i think i'd be pretty pissed if i had a 35" waist. so what does this mean- really?
Something on those charts just doesnt seem right. I have a smaller waist yet all other measurements are larger than suggested in the chart yet I dont feel I have a bodybuilder physique at all....hmmm. If I go by the chart I need to add a couple inches to my waist and shrink everywhere else....whats up wit dat?
What's up wit dat is that half of you are probably lying to yourselves. Is your neck REALLY 17"? Is your waist REALLY 31"? Is your chest REALLY 45"?
Well you get the idea. The advanced guys surpass on all measurements except waist, but I bet a lot of guys don't really measure what they think they measure, so get the tape measure out and do it right.
For my proportions at 5'8" and 182 lbs my measurements were very near the chart - I'd like to say my waist is 32, but I'll bet 32.6 is more like it.
I am not in the shape I'd like to be though. Aiming for 190-95 lbs and hopefully that 32.0" waist (can't get smaller - genetics!)
great, i'm off the damned chart. 285/74.5= 3.8255. i'm reminded of the cartoon where the guy steps on the scale and in stead of reading his weight, the scale just screams, "GET OFF!!! GET OFF!!!"
I always thought "ideal" proportions were calf=neck=bicep??? I swear I was just about to make a post saying how i no longer fit my 18.5 collar, and that its time to move to a 19 incher. My bi's are 19-19.5. But my calves are only 17-17.5. BOOOOO!!!!
I have been bulking for the past 8 weeks and I am up 17 lbs, on a 5’5” frame to 172#
I know I have gained a lot of strength and muscle, now I want to cut, and the biggest sore spot is my waist, I would like to have about a 28” waist, not 32.
