Ok, people that know me say that it's weird that I wake up every morning at 5:30 am so, I can go to the donut shop to fellowship with the so much older people, with my reading glasses, and to read my morning paper.....this isn't weird is it?
When I was a telemarkerter a few years back, I noticed when I called elderly people they would talk to me on the phone forever, they did seem lonely. Kind of made me sad. I tried not to sell them the crap that we were selling but I did talk to them.
If you actually sit down with someone who is older, you could really hear some interesting stories.

It's not weird at all. I do it every morning too....just not at 5:30 am...more like 8:30 a.m. I enjoy all of the old codgers. Sad thing is, with being almost 41....I'll be in their place in no time!

I'm not getting up at 5:30 unless I absolutely have to. Screw that. I like sleeping. Whatever floats your boat. Old people get up that early cause they go to bed at like 9. I dont get to sleep until 3ish usually. Funny thing about that- I was talking to a friend, he is a MSgt. in the Army and he said he goes to sleep around 1-2ish too- but he wakes up every day at like 6 to do PT. I was like "dont you need more sleep than that?" he said no, he has been that way for years. My girl likes about 10-12 hours sleep a night if she can get it. Girls like to sleep more than guys I think- beauty sleep right?
I sleep only 7 hours most of the time.......maybe, I'm like this becuase my grandpa raised me for 3 years.
Man, my last job at a stone and brick warehouse had there workers working loads of long laborous hours....I can recall, many of my co workers where on speed a lot.......thank god, I'm not there anymore!
