Do you cycle your HRT?

Do you cycle your HRT.... or do you take it all year round?

I have talked with two HRT Doctors and one said cycle and the other said don't.

WTF would be the point of cycling HRT? Your testosterone levels are not going to rebound or you wouldn't need HRT in the first place.

That's what I thought. If you have very low test levels....wouldn't PCT be a waste of time? And if so, why are HRT doctors (online and off) prescribing PCT products?

Because they're not really prescribing HRT, they're prescribing cycles. I know a doc that does this, it's not HRT. HRT is a low dose for life, no cycling.

Because they're typically selling/prescribing a level of 200 - 300mg/wk of test for 8 - 12 weeks. Conservative HRT by the majority of doctors is 70 - 100mg/wk. You'll find that most doctors will give you a 100mg/wk shot of test cyp. Doing PCT if you have to be on HRT is insane since you have no levels to recover, which is why you're on HRT to begin with. They just need to monitor, through periodic blood work things such as PSA and Lipids.
