Do you consider yourself a slave to money?

and if so, do you curse it, or embrace it?

I think I have come to the understanding and acceptance that I am going to be a slave to money. I've fucked around long enough, and now realize that "getting by" isn't going to cut it with regards to my personality and lifestyle.

The only tough part is going to be finding something that will make me a lot of money that I also enjoy doing.

I've got some brainstorming to do. :chomp:

Gay porn?

Nop, not at all.
If I had to choose between satisfaction from work and money I would choose satisfaction for work.

until my money works for me, then yes

In a forceful way, it does. We have no choice but to use it as the standard medium of exchange for goods and services. Unless we steal, but then we're simply cheating ourselves and capitalism itself. It'd be pretty hard to steal everything you need to survive.

I often wonder what a world would be like without money. The only better system besides chaos would be to have people's wealth based on their level of fitness and accumulated knowledge. That way no one could cheat or take any shortcuts. That would be the fairest way.

This way the disabled would truly only be the ones on a welfare system, not the lazy people as well.

The only real problem would be the possibility of many shortages since so many people would most likely be in good shape.

Is there really another system better than capitalism?

I would think that one would have to enjoy my work though to get satisfaction from it.

The money comes naturally at that point.

Do you enjoy your work? What do you do? What would you like to do?

who in their right minds would curse money? The more the merrier!

no way, quite the opposite. im into lifestyle, and for me that means having free time to do various things i like...though its fortunate that many of the things i like to do improve my life such that it would take a lot of money to do the same thing

i know too many sad millionaires to give a toss about sheer $ value
