Do they drugtest in "Natural Bodybuilding" comptitions?

It seems they would have to in order to call in natural. But that's really expensive. Do they only test the top 3? What do they test for?

This is jsut what I heard before, that you can have used before and be natural, I think that there is a limit on how much you could have done. I don't know this for a fact, just what I once heard. Probably no help, but that is all I have.

I think all shows are different....I've seen it where the rules say drug free for a certain amount of time....Some also do a polygraph which isn't as expensive

Each contest is different. Some random test before competition and not just the finalist. I keep hearing polygraphs are becoming more popular, but I've yet to hear of anyone failing one.

i'm surprised that they use polygraphs, I know that they are accurate to an extent, but what about the guys that even flunk their own name and such? What do they do then. True they have to do something though.

I've heard of having to pay for the test yourself, to prove you're natural,
as if I'm going to pay 300 bucks, and know I'm gonna fail, which is probably how they see it

I know one guy that competed in a natural contest and it was polygraphed and you couldn't have juiced for the last 6 years.

the ones around here that Ive heard of, polygraph test, and then the top guys get piss tests. That was for a 5 year clean comp. and the 1st place winner lost his placing later when the piss results came in.
It must be easy to beat though, because some of the national competitors on American Muscle are NOT natural.
