is going out on the weekend and drinking worse then running compounds such as tbol or var at a moderate dose... when it comes to harshness on the liver?

ive actually wondered this before. maybe what a comparison would be like to moderate drinking on the weekends for 8 to 10 weeks vs. runnin gear that have bad liver potential for the same amount of time.

I would guess unless you get really slammed near alcohol poisoning, or you take way too much aa17 at EXCESSIVELY high dosages, I think they would most likely be around the same, which is just "minimal" damage.

Binge drinking is way more damaging on the liver than an aa7 or aa17, also methinks people exaggerate the sides of aa17 on lipids (a side note).

Well opinions don't mean much, as your question is really asking for a number on a scale. But it's a good question, I wonder if anyone has studies on liver values when taking Xmg of oral AAS, and also studies on liver values when drinking Xoz. of alcohol a couple days a week over a month.

alcohol is much harsher on the liver than orals. so is tylenol bro. just ask your doctor. young boys that are undersized are given var for long periods of time i mean months on end and no liver damage. i ran winny for 6 months straight, yes i was a moron, no liver damage though, just fucked with my lipids a bit and made my cholesterol a bit higher.

Ya I got liver values run as well as a friend who was about to jump into AS. He is a huuuge binge drinker - 4-5 days a week kind of guy. He said he wanted to start a cycle and it'd help him be motivated to not drink - anyways my liver values were better and this was after my tren/dbol cycle. Dbol @ 25mg ED.

Oh ya and I love how energy drinks throw in milk thistle now - as a liver protectant when drinking. Its genius.

interesting to hear all this... now too bad var is so damn expensive or else i would run it half of the year

6 weeks of Winstrol - 100mg e2d. HDL=8

It came back up after a few months but the Dr. almost fell out of his seat. That is DANGEROUSLY low. I was running EQ and Deca @ the time but I don't think either of them are known to affect lipid panels as drastically as 17aa.

Its a well known fact that the worst oral for affecting lipids in Winstrol.

This came from a study posted a few months back, whcih stated that oral doses of only 5mg were shown to destroy HDl after only a few weeks. Thats right!!!! only 5mg.

Maybe someone can dig up the study

An occassional drink here and there is not gonna hurt things, just don't overdue it and make it a habit. You should already be on something like Tyler's as a Liver Aid/protectant. Other aids like ALA, NAC, Milk Thistle, etc, will help as well.

100mgs...jesus christ

Now I know for a fact and have seen blood work of competition BBers that it did not degrade lipids that bad at all. Perhaps predisposition, perhaps still leading an unhealthy lifestyle, perhaps its many factors but I think people blow it up wayy more than it is.

This past winter I was on a test/tren/winny cycle and used winny for the last 5 or 6 weeks at 75mg ed. Got everything checked out at the doctors and everything was ok.
