I don't know about the connector - sorry...

...but I want to buy an Xbox for my girlfriend - purely so I can call her up and say, "Can I come over and play with your box?"

It comes with everything. Unless you have an ancient TV with no cable hookups. You'll have to pay extra for S-video though...
