get frustrated with the whole bb lifestyle, I mean when it comes down to it, you can never fully or completely get off the drugs, you must eat like a fuckin horse daily, and training can never stop due to it goes faster if your bigger and stop.......not to mention the drugs in your system has a person on a rollercoaster of emotions, one minute your pissed, the other minute you feel like shit? BB is fun and it is great being big and having size, but the routine can be a pain in the ass after years and years of doing it.............is it all worth it, to everyone, or do you feel it is something that you will never conquerer since being pro bb is so hard to do, and not many will ever be able to claim pro status............dont take the post wrong, but the lifestyle can be trying at times!

Agreed bro. But I still love it and hate it. It's a love hate realitionship. I'm eating like a Pig Good food to one meal a day is crappy but my gains a low. streangth is going up alot. It frustrates the hell out of me. But I just try to stay focused ant feep setting new goals.

not too mention the substance source issues also, mail order is a pain, and risky, and many arent fortunate enough to live near mexico or have high profile sources, each day its something else, but like you said, its a love hate thing.

Any routine can be a pain in the ass. Its the lack of a routine that will lead to mediocrity, failure, disillusionment, poor health, etc. This takes discipline just like any worthwhile endeavor, but the benefits will last your whole life if you're smart about it. Usually, it is reckless or uninformed AS usage that leads to much of the problems we read about over and over.

I would be much more disconcerted with having to wake up to a fat blob in the mirror every morning. And I also disagree with the notion that you can't get off the drugs--- that's a dependence issue. If you rely too heavily on the drugs for your gains (both physically and psychologically), you will never be satisfied, b/c their efficacy will lessen with time.

I bodybuild because it is my way of life. Yes sometime I
wonder if it is worth it, but not to often. I have given
up any false dreams of ever becoming a pro many years
ago. But I know that it is worth it when I return to my
home town for a vist and I see all these hopeless slugs
whom I use to play sports with, It's a joke. I love to do
a show or two or three a year. My main competition,
however is myself. I will not enter a show looking like
shit.

Yeah, training is hard, the discipline to eat right is hard, etc. But life is pathos, and it should be embraced. I mean, would you rather be some nerd collecting stamps?

depends on if i'm that nerd who collected the stamp that's worth 3 million dollars.:D then i could buy all the gear i wanted.:nerd:

well its a routine like any other one... at the beginning I was kindda lazy but now I'm use to it

That is why you set several small goals like put an inch on your arms and the drugs are fun especially injecting. That piece of cold steel penetrating your skin and then flows the the test. its a rush and i love it wouldnt trade it for anything.
