DNP on the heart

New member
I am not an advocate of DNP's use, but I was curious if anyone could tell me the effects that it has on the heart and blood pressure.

i never noticed my BP going up on it and as far as the heart who knows if its bad or not, but nothing about what dnp does to the body isi GOOD lol.

None. Unlike ephedrine which targets the adrenergic
system(increased adrenaline=increased heart-rate
through the stimulation of the beta-1 receptors),
DNP does NOT work on the CNS/PNS system.
Rather, its mode of action is purely blocking
the production of ATP from glucose which has
no direct effect on the heart.

I'll tell you in about 2 weeks-hearing it face to face is better than seeing it on the goddamn computer-lol

My heart rate jumps from about 60 to almost 90 when I'm doing a high dose cycle. DNP hinders ATP production, so your body needs to use more energy to do the same things. Therfore, your metabolic rate has to increase to make up for the higher demand for energy....

I didn't notice too much change in my heart rate while I was on it... I did however find myself very fatigued and warm... I had energy, but lacked alot of motivation to actually do anything... I didn't have any sort of heart-skipping or anything like that, though.

SD is cool i love busting her chops as she does mine

Theoretically it is supposed to raise your core body temperature, which subsequently would increase your body's affinity for oxygen, which stimulates the heart rate to increase and work harder, which if used for long periods of time, could cause myocardial enlargement and lead to muscle damage and/or heart failure. I dont think that all of this is very likley though. I would just closley monitor heart rate and blood pressure as well as your temperature.

Hope this helped?

Dnp causes blood pressure to be lowered, the increase in tempature causes dialation of the blood vessels. The body does so to disperse heat as quickly as possible.
