DNP, Crystal or Powder?

After doing some research on Crystal vs Powdered DNP, I still have a few questions. With all of the discussion surrounding these issues, I wanted to sort of get a "round up" of knowledge and opinions on these question.

1 - How do you know which type of DNP you have?

Lets say someone has some DNP, and cannot get access to the supplier anymore to ask this question. How then, would one know which type was in the capsules? I mean ... could somone open them up and look (outside, and away from anything you dont want to turn yellow of course) - would it be obvious (big crystals glistening like little pieces of glass vs a shine-less powder ..) which type you have?

2 - Are there any REAL changes in dose, length of cycle, or supplementation, which is recommended with a cycle based on Crystal vs one based on Powdered DNP?

I have read some thing about people (seeming to "hypothesize") that crystal is some number of times tronger (?) than powdered DNP. I certainly would not want that to cause any real risks if it was true, and I un-knowingly took a certain dose of one type and ended up with real problems.

Any knowledgeable help would be appreciated.

I can't speak for what powder looks like. But the crystal ones that I have seen (in clear caps) are visible crystals. I would imagine that powder would look more like flour as opposed to the crystal which looks a bit like salt (except for the colour).
