DMSO? Fellas help me out

hey I just got off the phone with one of my friends. He is a former bodybuilder and I was telling him how my diet was going but how I always have problems getting rid of my handles. He said find some DMSO and crush some T4 (thyroid med. not test) and mix it and aplly it to the fat area, he told me it was an old bodybuilders secret. This guy is smart as hell, so I am eager to try it. He said the fat dissappears in two days time. He said it burns though. It makes the fat dissipate from the area. He said just find some dmso. Now that is one thing I am not familiar about. what is it and can you get it legaly?

DMSO is perfectly legal to own as long as it is used as a solvent. Just type DMSO into any search engine and you should get many hits. Make sure to get the 99.9% pure stuff. Please let me know if the DMSO/t4 combo is effective at spot reduction. I'm really curious to see if that actually works.
