Free speech is real. Speech without consequences may not be. The two are different. Just as the dixie chicks were successful by what came out of their mouths, so now will they suffer by it.

Consequences is what helps people learn. To have none would be a disaster. In essence these people work in sales and you never tell anyone your real feelings if you expect to sell anything.
