ok, one thing that i noticed getting my stuff out of the locker at the gym, nobody washes their hands after lifting. how in the hell could you not do that. that is the first thing i do when done. think of all those germs just chilling on your hands from all those machines, and you just walk out to do what ever it is you do. It's just wrong!

That's simply disgustingly gross.

The hands harbour resident and non-resident bacteria, meaning even after you wash your hands there is bacteria that stays no matter what. As Eddie Murphy said, "You keep that shit forever, like luggage" ;)

In my profession, we do studies on bacteria all the time, and we once washed our hands and then turned off the lights and shone a special light that made any bacteria on the hands shine flourescent pink. I was surprised that I had pink spots, because I am obsessive about washing my hands. The areas that people miss always are all around the thumbs and between the thumbs and forefingers.

Ever notice if people are wearing plastic overgloves before touching your food, or making your sandwich? If they aren't, I don't buy.
