I'm 16 years old and i work out regularly along with running cross country and track
over the summer i quit running and worked out every other day. I weigh 140 pounds and i can only curl 35 at the most and bench 110 barely
i know i'm capable of better results but i'm just frustrated because i'm not seeing any results. I'm also worried about getting back in shape for cross country which starts really soon, so what i'm wondering is if i should try steroids and if so i don't want to take lots , just a little and how much and what type...oral ? or injected?
thanks for any advice you can offer me.

NO, not for a number of years, you may really screw yourself up. In the off season reduce your running to a minimum, eat good good quality food by the cart load and hit the weights four times a week hard. Please no roids at your age.

Listen to him man. To get big, you have to eat big. Grab yourself some designer protein, chicken breasts, pasta, rice, and steak and eat those nonstop throughout the day.
At 16, your testosterone levels are fuckin HIGH. Added test wont do anything beneficial.

lilguy,

You need to choose what is more important to you. Getting bigger, stronger ... or running like Forrest Gump. You really cannot do one with the other. Getting stronger and coincidentally bigger means eating more, and inevitably gaining a little unwanted bodyfat with some mass as well. As far as the steroids go, if you're curling 35 and benching 110, obviously you do not have that much experience in the gym. Learn to train and diet, get a few years of natural progress under your belt... then come back to consider AS, if you should even NEED them by then.

So there it is. Choose your poison. ;)

Bump for the great advice.

Lilguy, read and reread what the bro's posted. You won't get better answers.

You didn't mention your diet, but I would guess that all of your answers are there.

At your age your metabolism is burning calories like crazy, especially if you do a lot of cross country running. You need to consume lots of complex carbs and protein.

You should aim to get at least 250 grams of protein to do. That is hard to do on solid food alone. Most guys eat at least 3 solid means a day and have 2-3 shakes in between. It can become a real chore and expensive, but that's what it takes.

Whatever you do, don't do steriods at your age. They will stunt your growth. Besides your body is producing so much natural testosterone now that it would be redundant. You might consider creatine, but no juice for you my friend.

Good luck and keep your chin up!

Dont touch roids if your a distance runner. Take a look at marathon winners. They are thin not much strength. But they can run for ever with thier endurance.

well guys thanks a lot for the advice, all i really needed was for someone to point me in the right direction and yall really did.
I'll keep a good diet up and hit the gym regularly
i'm not too worried about my speed as a runner, my size really isn't typical to that of a runner
well i guess i'll go start training
thanks once again for the advice, you have no idea how much you've helped

Hey lilguy! I just had this weird feeling. People around the board, esspecially those surfing for newbies may have emailed you. Please do not get yourself scammed! I maybe over reacting, but you gave up really easy!! I do not want you to get scammed either! be careful and I wish you the best of luck!!

Hey man,

Do not use roids yet. Maybe you just don't know how to lift right so you aren't getting good results. Post your workout on here and then maybe we can help you. All you need is food and the right lifting program.
