Dissent in Hollywood: Crash over Brokeback = Gay Agenda Setback

It was obvious that Brokeback Mountain was an attempt by Hollywood to force the gay agenda down the throat of mainstream America. After months of hoopla, winning best picture would have sealed the deal for decades to come, giving the movement a crowning achievement.

I guess someone forgot to tell the academy:

" Everyone watching knew this was a chance for the Academy to take a stand on what is arguably one of the most controversial issues of our time. Battles are being fought at ballot boxes, in courtrooms, schools and homes all around the country. Sunday night offered a chance for Hollywood to weigh in with their support.

Up until Jack Nicholson opened that envelope virtually everyone -- even the Las Vegas odds-makers, felt it a near certainty Hollywood do just that.

But at the last second, the Oscar voters blinked"

Why are conservatives so damn fascinated with anything gay?

You want rights? I'll give you rights! 10% off Vaseline. Now get back in the closet!!

Andrew "Dice" Clay

Tom Hanks won best actor for Philadelphia (which was a gay movie) but I'm not sure if it won best pic or not. He went back to back with a "Gump" follow up I think. I still can be flipping through the channels and get hooked on Forrest Gump. Darn good movie.

They threw it a nomination bone, no pun intended. Then came to their senses and realized it was just a typical love story if you replaced either Ledger or Gyllenhall with a woman. You gotta have more than a social agenda, you have to actually make a good movie. Same holds true for the Passion of Christ movie.

Push the gay agenda down our throats? LMAO!

Either go see the movie or don't. I saw Brokeback. No one forced anything on me. The theatre was full of gay, straight...who the fuck cares. It was an excellent movie.

You however are the biggest closet homosexual I have ever seen. :rainbow:

Longhorn is so far in the closet, he's in Narnia.

It's ok though. Someone needs to buy him the Brokeback Moutain DVD for Christmas. :rainbow:

Don't bother, by then it will be showing at late night on cable.
