Dilluting IGF-1 LR3 with BW

I've been researching IGF and still I am not clear what the powder form is constituted with...acetic acid, benzyl alcohol or bacteriostatic water?
One such research company even says "1mg of lyophilized powder (white dry powder) can be mixed with Bacteriostatic Water since it is so pure."

I always mix my IGF with bacteriostatic water (BC WATER), I never put BA in it in the fear of damaging the compound.

Just put some BC water in, you shouldn't have a problem

What about the "dripping it in" or "squirting it in" methods? I had read the diluent should be dripped slowly into the vial along the side to prevent the damage...true?

100% true, if you look up another IGF thread I posted on, I spoke of my experience in ruining some IGF but spraying in the BC water...just like GH, you should DRIP it in slowly (IV style).

If the IGF you get is already reconstituted in acid, then you cannot mix it with Bac. Water. You can put a little bac water in the pin to make sure you push all the igf out, but don't get the water in the IGF vial or it can be damaged.

If it is powder form, follow Mr. X's procedure.

Just curious how long it is good for once this is done ( if kept in the refrigerator)?

yes, you can use 2-3mls

I would say 6-12 mo. if you don't shake it around a lot and keep it in the fridge

I am not. But I am not going to get in this pissing match again. In powder form it is to easy to damage the peptide and once reconsitited in acid it becomes less fragile. Bac water is not at the correct PH to be ideal for this process, so I recommend getting IGF that is reconsitited in acid, and then use Bac water behind it to push from the pin.

If you were to want 40-50 mcg out of 1000 mcg with 2 ml of BW, what would your measurement be on the insulin pin?

2ml BW = 1000mcg IGF
2mls = 200 IUs
1000mcg/200IUs = 5mcg/IU

5mcg/IU * 10 IU = 50mcg
