Another thing about using the board to tell people to check their PMs:

It makes the people who never get PMs feel bad about themselves. It's just like when you were in grade school, and there was that rule that you werent' allowed to give out valentines in the classroom unless you brough enough for every girl (or boy if u are a girl).
