difficulty of getting a custom tattoo -

print out the image, and take it to a tattoo parlor, show the drawing to one of the artists and they can recreate it anyway you can image, its really not that difficult for them to do :)

depends on the event... give it about 6 months and if you feel the same and if you feel you need it then maybe you should have it.

Good man. =)

Nothing personal, but I absolutely detest tattoos... especially on women. Very unattractive and unappealing. My girl wanted to get a tattoo of a little God-knows-what on her ankle. Told her that it served no purpose and it was grotesque. She seems to have forgotten about it for now, thankfully.

Seriously chief, tattoos = yucky.

I guess I'm the opposite of Warik....I think they are very sexy on a woman. Of course it does depend on how well the tattoo was done.

When there is a tattoo I want I always wait for about a year and then decide if I still want it. That way I know I won't be dissapointed further down the line. It really is a big decision thats going to be there for life so make the best of it.

Good luck.

Dread....I got mine on September 10th......right before the attacks on the USA. Now when I look at it, it reminds me of
Sept 11th.

They will have to enlarge your tat to show detail. A good artist will keep it reasonable..........good luck dear.

I have been wanting one since I was eighteen but I had never gotten one because I couldn't commit....

Seems funny, when I got married I thought it would be forever... In a matter of a few LOOOOOOONG weeks - I will FINALLY BE FREE!

Should I get a tatt to commemorate the auspicious occasion?

What do ya'll think?

Hmmmmmmmm, seems like a solid chat board poll.

Yes, I am TRULY bored!

my birthday was sept. 11

i have wanted a tattoo for at least 4 years, and more specifically a penguin of some sort for about 2 years

i dont think i would regret it at all at this point, but since the big man says no, what can i say

i know it's ultimately my choice, but he does have to put up with me.

any suggestions for convincing him ? i cant use the sad puppy face girl thing, i cant pull that off, lol

Even though I had wanted one for YEARS my ex was against it, so I never got one....

Problem solved - dumped his sorry ass!

A tatt is a lifetime commitment (well, except for that ruby laser thingie). It is YOUR BODY... if you want one, go and have one done. I think it is silly to put such limitations on your partner.... simply silly.

Also remember that the body changes over time -- esp on women. A friend of mine had a colorful butterfly done just abover her boob -- except now its sort of a long moth.....

Pick a spot that won't cause the tat to "drip"!
