diet when sick/not well...

i havent trained in a week ive been in bed most of the time and not eating proporly. i would say ive been drinking a 3rd of my usual intake and eating a 1/4. will i be losing muscle from this week, most of the food that i have been eating anyway has been fat/protein with some carbs.

any tips on how to recover from the flu quicker?
 
many will probably have issue with what i'm going to say, but i firmly stick to the old addage, feed a cold, starve a flu.
