Diet Recipes

I am new to the forum and just finished reviewing different recipes for low fat meals. Got so more ideas.

For the last 6 months I have been stuck in a rut - still training but my eating has been off and on (mostly off). My problem is that I get bored and sick of stuff really easy so I try to find as many easy recipes as possible.

The few recipes that I have found so far (without going into the archives) are some chicken ones. Basically, I am looking for a low fat, low carb and high protein diet. I am 31 (almost 32), weigh anywhere from 123-127 (depending on how I am feeling). I train very hard in the gym and have been doing so for approx. 10 yrs. I compete in powerlifting, although have not done so in the last year, but I looking to compete again hopefully in the Spring of 2002. Unless I am going into a contest and try to get into my weight class, I don't usually diet. Another goal of mine is to get lean enough for a photo shoot (my husband has agreed to pay for one if I can stick to a diet).

Any other recipe ideas that I can get would be much appreciated.

Dieting is not a lot of fun...its a mental game really...It all depends on how lean u want to get. I mix my tuna w/ green beans or plain salad...chicken and steamed veggies..turkey breasts are good...if u season em....lean red meat...egg whites...salsa to give stuff a lil spice...natural pb....my FAVORITE...i use olive oil for salad dressing...flax oil on my veggies, and some fruits in the morning like 4-5 strawberries or 1/2 a grapefruit. I season stuff like crazy...mix some crazy stuff together and just try new things. You get used to it and it is all worth it in the end. If you are consistent, it will work...but it will not be easy..so remember that going into it. Set some goals for yourself and GOODLUCK!!!!!
 
i am eating my gosh darn can of tuna for lunch, as usual, and just about gagged it's getting so bad sometimes. however, just looked at Phems pics and her no brainer for tuna, open can, hold nose, eat....and gotta do it! the rest of my office is sitting around eating dominos pizza. im not!
