Diet Motivation!

I can't seem to get my diet straight! :mad:

Anyone who is religious about their eating?? If so do you have any insight to offer on how you mentally motivate yourself to stick to it??

My weakness is evenings after a long day - I kick back watching TV or playing PS2 - and let the binging begin - cereal, PB&J Sandwiches, Oreos W/Milk, Ice Cream - and that is all in one night!!

Is there any mental trick or tips that work to help avoid these daily cheats??

It all depends on how you look...

Are you large and ripped while eating like you do??

If you're not satisfied with how you look...well there's your motivation.
 
Additionally, try cutting out pics of the Pros you want to be like, post them on the cupboards, frig, bathroom mirror, etc.

I started at 306# and a 45" gut and in the first year dropped to 252# and a 36".....I then did what I mentioned above, and booked to compete in a show.....in 90 days, I dropped from 252 to 212# and a 32" waist at 8%....not enough to win or place, but enough to look good and do the job. That was my first show at age 41.....

Set a goal, speak it to others so you look like a fool if you don't follow through (that's enough pressure for me) and if you have cravings, eat air (get the Book - Sliced by Negrita Jayde) at night, you'll learn what foods constitute that and be satisfied as well.

Taking a look at the general population is enough for me to stay motivated. Or I think what I looked like when I was fat and how I NEVER want to be like that again. I also think of the nice compliments I get from women and people in general when I go out.

But something like ephedrine suppresses the appetite. Increasing water and fiber in the diet makes the stomach feel fuller. Try eating low glycemic carbs and good proteins as well.
I love PB too, but I go to a place where I can grind my own so it is a little better. I put it on celery stalks instead of white bread.

It basically just comes down to discipline though.
 
I'll be doing my first show in April...that's my motivation.....I know I need to stick to my diet to win the whole thing!
