First my stats:
6ft
230lbs
10% fat

My goal is to get down to 7%.
I have been talking to markus reinhardt on my diet... He advised me to eat 1-1.5g of protein per kilo or weight. and double that in carbs.

So this past week I have averaged about 2000 calories, 130prot, 250 carbs 50 fat.

This week I wanted to lower to 1700, but I think that is insane at my weight! However marcus Did it.

I read from Sahwn and Bill philips a good rule of thumb is take your weight X by 10. That is good for getting cut.

So I should be eating 2300calories.. However- Iam keeping them at 2000 calories 25%prot. 25%fat 50% carbs has been my average.
Mike Menzter recommends 25-15-60 though... which is very hard...

I have also added 3 cardio days per week 20min.

I did lose about 4% fat so far, but the diet has been getting hard now that Im under 2000 calories...

Is this a good plan of attack?
 
300g of protein is based on false information.

I have never ate that much protein. And to lower carbs that low will not keep my muscles full of glycogen. Ive tried some thing like that before...And didnt stick to it very long.
 
1.5 - 2g prot/kg weight

230 lbs = 105 kg
--->160-210g of protein
 
everyone is different. Keep protein high, and adjust carbs and fats until you see results. eat clean complex carbs, and good essential fats. time your carb intake to include most in the morning and post workout. there is no specific number anyone can give you. experiment and get to know your body.Lol.
