Did the Evil Dead scare you?

ummm.... evil dead was a comedy...
so was evil dead 2 and the 3rd sequel whos name i foget...

they were spoofs...

evil dead and army of darkness were amazing movies, simply because they were so funny. Only women could've been scared by them, then again you are a woman trapped inside a man's body lol.

i havent seen any horror movies that have freaked me out either, but im gonna have to say, the first half of Jeepers Creepers had my heart pounding.

Army of Darkness was hillarious.

This is my boomstick!

Sofa,
You shittin me? Wow.

Yup... Evil Dead was a college film project... made on a budget of only $5,000 back around 1980... not sure the exact date. They kept running out of money and it took them 3-4 years to finish the film. That is why the actors age so much during the movie. They actually age 4 years from beginning to end.

Actually, I didn't mean it that way. I really did not pay any attention to the verbage or mean it in any kind of insidious way.

But thanks for pointing that out. Nothing slips by those latent homo traits you have huh?

Sofa,
Makes sense because the actors definitely age during the movie. I was thinking that they had a tremendous make up team. lol.

If I took anything out of those movies it was how funny "the hand" was. It took on its own identity.

I want to say there was a sequel called "Army of Darkness". The lead actor was Johnny Jacked on the cover wasn't he?

Word to your motha!!!

I got to see Bruce Campbell speak on his book tour, and the man is funny as hell in person. He's a little "off", and you can tell he gets a LOT of questions about whether or not there would be an Evil Dead 4, but he was very nice, a good public speaker, and very gracious to all the fans.

Jeepers Creeper was a spooky surprise, but The Ring is fucking unnerving as hell.

What alot of people dont realize is the guy who made the evil dead series was the same who made spiderman this summer.

Guess it goes to show that persistance in doing what you love as a carreer can pay off.

1982, if I'm not mistaken.

Yep. When asked about Evil Dead 4, Bruce Campbell told the girl that she could explain to Sam Raimi why he should make that movie instead of Spider-Man 2.

Evil Dead 1 and 2: Funny.

Army of Darkness: Same

The only movie that scared the crap out of me was "Tales from the Darkside".

I was 12. I had nightmares for weeks after that one.....LOL

Nowadays? None. I haven't seen the ring, but I doubt it'll scare me.
