Did I Hit A Vein???

damnit... I dunno if I hit a vein or nott... I stuck in the needle all the way in then forgot to aspirate... I must have injected like .3 or .4 cc when I remembered to aspirate... so i did... and blood came out.. I was like... oh shit i'm gonna die.. I took it out and reinserted it somewhere else on my glute.. this time aspirated and fine.. but the first shot, you guys think i hit a vein?? i didn't feel weird afterwards just sorta like a panic attack.. but after the second injection i was fine..

Just sounds like the gear mixed w/some intramuscular blood, no big deal.

You would know if you injected into a vien or not. Short of breath, instant headache, stomach cramps. Now I have found out that these symptoms don't always happen right at once. I forget which one carries blood to the heart and which one carries it away, but I on accident injected into one. Symptoms did not come on all of a sudden, was a minute or two later. I guess it was still going around the blood stream before it hit the lungs where it was trying to pick up oxygen and couldn't. Hence where your symptons come from.
