So my roommate and I found a source at our gym, he is one of the personal trainers, we'll call him Brad. Well his roommate usually stocks stuff, but when I finally asked Brad about purchasing they were out and weren't placing an order for a few weeks. Well apparently, the guy he was working out with, we will call him Joe, knew a source and was placing an order that next week.
We had to give Brad the cash upfront, and he was going to pass half off to Joe along with half for an order Brad wanted too. He gave him the money Sunday night and supposedly the order was placed the following day, and we should expect the stuff by the next Wednesday (about 9 days turnover). Two weeks goes by and no phone call, so I asked him at the gym and Brad says, "Yeah, I tried to call him today and his phone is disconnected." Naturally, I don't want to suspect the worst and think that it wont come so I just say ok we'll wait it out longer. To top it off, he says his roommate now has everything in stock too.
So, I don't think it is going to come. Here is my thinking:
A. Brad never really placed an order. He faked the entire situation, only "giving half the money" in case something goes wrong (protecting us somewhat), and also saying he gave him money too, so if something does go wrong he has lost out too. He pocketed half of our money, we got half of our money back, and we're mad at Joe and not Brad because Brad was just trying to help.
B. Joe got caught
C. Joe ran with the money, which wouldn't make sense since it's not like it was a huge amount of money...and he would be breaking all ties with Brad, a friend of several years.
Now, what if I pressure Brad some and find out he is lying, what do I do? Do I beat his face in with a 10lb dumbbell? Do I follow him home and beat the shit out of him? I'm not an aggressive natured person, but he clearly took advantage of me, all the while saying he got burned his first time and doesn't want it to happen to me. Do you think I should just pressure him to sell me some of his roommates stock for cost and just cut my losses? I'm not giving up on steroids as I've dreamed of using them for years now and finally made the decision I was ready. I don't want to fuck Brad up if he really didn't do anything, and do I reallyw ant to get involved with someone who slings juice? Are they going to show up on my doorstep with a gun, or fuck up my motorcycle which is parked in front of my apartment door? (Brad knows where I live btw)
Sorry for the long read...SF
Edit: And wtf do I do if I see these two working out together in the future, because I know what both of them look like?
