i started taking dextrose and maltodextrin a month ago. I just put a teaspoon of each + my protein powder + water = great post-workout fast nutrition.

basically i THINK if i remember correctly it provides direct energy for cells and stuff because dextro/malto are monomers and not complex like say the sugar you currently use. anyways, readup bro

I use the one made from NOW supplements. I also use their malto.
