Deuce is holding out of training camp and hasnt negotiated with the team since this past thursday.
There is no reason for him not to sign. The player in front of him has signed and the player in back of him.
The Saints have offer him a deal right in the middle of those 2 players.
His reasons for holding out:
1. Since he believes he should have been taking in the top 10 he wants to get paid like it.
2. He wants #22 and our nickel cornerback Fred Thomas has refused since day 1.
3. He is kind of upset that there is no chance of him starting. When drafted, he thought he had a chance to start. After seeing what type of shape Ricky Williams was in during mandatory workouts, he realized he had no chance. Duece exact words " This guy is unbelievable"
Coach Haslett said "We are not worried about the situation, we have an elite RB"
"If he comes to camp, Ill coach him, If not, good luck next year"
