I'm thinking of buying a descrambler aka black box. Does anyone know of any good brands?

go to ebay and type in clearmax 6000 they don't work with digital cable though.

Clearmax 6000 does nothing other than provide me with the basic channels - none of the pay channels are descrambled. If you want to get ALL the channels, get original equipment - it costs more, but it works.
