I keep telling myself that "I am an idiot"

this hand thing is really begining to sink in, I may not be able to lift upper body for some time.

In this last year I spent about 6 grand on my body, and finally I was almost where I wanted to be. And now this, everyday I will feel and get smaller and its going to kill me.

I miss the gym, the mediatation and harmony it brings to my life. Yesterday I went not to workout but to just be in there for a little while.

Accidents happen man.. Mistakes happen. Just do what you can to keep up for now.. and when you come back, you can come back strong and hard, and hopefuly the Muscle Memory will help you.

Cheer up bro.

Hang in their, I went thorught the same thing last year, 6 weeks out. It was the longest time ever out of the gym for me, I was very depreesed, but I knew when I got back I would be stronger and bigger than ever. What kept me going, the though of getting back to the gym and being myself again. It makes you appricate the gym a whole lot more, and what a big part of your life it is. I tried to keep my mind busy by hanging out here and playing video games, I didn't want to leave my house.

You'll be back, just bide your time, anf you'll come back in a fury, bigger and storger than before, but also mentally and spritually stronger. Peace bro.

u know hi... this could be a good experience for u. find something else 2 do with ur time. it might make you more well rounded.

I thought he was going to post a picture when abit after Christmas but now that his hand thing happened I don't think well see his pictures. Unless he posts one now at the stats he has now, since there not embarassing or anything.

don't let it get you... keep eating a lot and go in a lil heavier than usual when you get back... you know you can cut up... just make an alternative plan.

mmmhmm........

Damn dude, I didn't know you had broken your hand. Was it a bouncing incident or what?

Hey, there's this guy my age who always comes into the bar and all he has for a left forearm is this bony nub about eight inches long that tapers down into a blunt point. He still has a pretty good bicep on that arm though because he hooks stretchy bands up to his nub so he can do curls and tri extensions.

A guy I bounce with got really hammered on his night off a few months ago and swung at a guy out in front of the bar. He missed the guy, but connected solidly with the eight foot tall plate glass window behind him. It sliced most of his major tendons going from his wrist into his hand. They had to reattach them all, and for awhile he was shrunk down and lost some of his size. Eventually, though, it healed up to where the doc gave him the green light to lift. He started out light and is making good progress now, and he's getting back to being his normal old swole up self.

You'll get through it man. Try not to let it get you down to bad. Easier said than done, I know, but you can't let it eat you up or you're really fucked. Good luck bro.

You have to find a new "religion" fast to take your mind off of the inevitable losses. Otherwise depression can feed off of itself. I'd recommend becoming a cardio nut and focus on endurance on stuff you can still do. Lift what you can of course.

Muscle memory is great. Once you have the muscle, it is 6 times easier to grow it back. You will come storming back in record time.

testboy...

he is probably pretty high on vicoden right now and not motivated to do much of anything.

also, high, no fat burners if u are going to have surgery.

lay low for a while on the fitness thing. try reading, try school.

also, is the bar paying for your medical expenses? are they giving you paid time off? get a lawyer if they dont

HI,

Chin up Kev. As Puc said, it's an opportunity to find other interests. By doing that it will keep you occupied and time will pass quickly rather than sitting, hoping and waiting for it to heal.

You'll be back in the game in no time. Hope for a quick recovery for you.

not to be a dick, but this is what you get for being a cocky, Arrogant, asshole :D might want a attitude adjustment next time around. by the way, how did you do that? those are some nasty brakes. a buddy of mine broke his pinky finger/knuckle by hitting a tree as hard as he could, x-rays didn't look half as bad as yours....he was out for 9 months....keep your head up, just a bump in the road.

Love how some of you kick a man when he's down....why didnt you speak up about this earlier BIGBADbuff?

or Did you?

Great advice Tb!

HI- Yeah Bro, just become a cardio fool. Running outside is something I've just started to do again. It'll make you feel amazing. Just make sure your intake of protein and calories is enough to preserve your muscle... until you hit the weight pile again.

Yeah. Sounds like you have no other outside interest than the gym.

Blowflex 2 is here for you!

Squat til you puke!

Or take up running, you can get an endorphin high off of that as well.

good luck

I know how lifting is so important to you dude. I'm sorry to hear you're down in teh dumps but you should never put all your eggs in one basket. Expand your horizons and find something else to occupy your time. Date, get a hobby, play sports like soccer, or take a vacation and travel where it's warmer. Let some local pamper you.

I feel for ya man. I am no where NEAR where my goals are, but I am in the gym every day trying to get there. I have such bad joints, and they hurt on and off and it keeps me out of there alot. It is the most depressing thing in the world to me. As soon as they start hurting I just want to give up and say fuck it.

But like others said, try to find something positive to do with your time.. Maybee you could help out some newbie's out at the gym with their routines and getting started...I am not a big guy, and when I started I had some big fucking friends who helped me get in check. It was a really great thing.. Sometime you see these big motherf!@#$%^ at the gym, who are complete asshole and don't wanna help anyone... Well that shit pisses me off.....Good luck to you man

Got one word of advice for you.

Trenbolone at 50mg ED.

Muscle loss will be MINIMAL at best. Maybe 4-5lbs.

I use Tren for maintenance or for when i'm injured.

Nothing else comes close to its anti-glucocorticoid activity.

Good idea fonz....will that have a negative impact on his healing?

At that dose: No.

He can also look into Winstrol which has connective tissue healing properties.

I'm Hi's stand in for fights until his hand heals... although, I don't think he'd have any trouble. ;)

Dude you will gain it all back don't worry. I am a true believer in muscle memory and it won't even be that hard to gain your lost muscle back so don't even sweat it.
