deprenyl with ghb vs vitex

perfectspecimen

New member
is it ok to take deprenyl with ghb, deprenyl affects dopamine levels.

is deprenyl better at supressing prolactin than vitex when used with fina?

Vitex can.

Info

Information from supplier, Janina Sorenson, in Denmark

Vitex agnus castus is known to exert remarkable hormonal activity on espeically the female hormonal system. It is believed to balance the two female gonadal hormonse by having a progesterone-like activity.

someone is misinformed here. macrophage told me that natural progesterone is good, it is the progestin that fina raises that is bad. he said that the progesterone increase caused by vitex is good. lets get some more opinions here.

I found this post by TxLonghorn - mod.

He basically states the same thing as mac in regards to progesterone and progestin.

<snip>

Look, it's the same basic drug. You are asking if I get gyno from test enanthate, will I get it from test prop or test suspension. YES, it's just a different ester, not a different drug.

NO nandrolone doesn't convert to progesterone, it activates the prog. receptor like a progestin. In addition to that little problem, it can also convert to estrogen, but not to any significant extent. Now you can also get the gyno from other reasons like prolactin and elevated igf-1 levels, or a combo of any or all of the above. Basically, Mother Nature wants all of her children to have breasts and unless you are careful, she will get her wish.

Now, for progestin (progesterone is good, progestin is bad) problems, you are basically fucked. Sorry, winny won't do dick. Ru-486 will, but it might kill you in the process since we don't know enough about it and how much to take and what it does in men, etc., etc. Nasty sides from some people who have taken it.

Prolactin, look into vitex.

Igf-1, look into nolvadex.

Does that clear things up, or muddy the waters?

<end snip>

There are some positive to progesterone but regardless of that for our purposes it may not be a good trade for some people. I'm not misinformed either I just have a different opinion on the issue.

Mind you I have three years of medical school under my belt so I'm not shooting from the hip either, but then again that does not assure that I'm always correct in my presumptions. I respect Macs opinion as well, but he is not right all the time either nor is anyone for that matter. Never take what someone says as gospel on this board because we are all misinformed to some degree.

Here some more information that supports my presumptions..

It profoundly stimulates pituitary function, changing LH ( leiteininzing) and FSH (follicle stimulating hormone). Using vitex on a regular basis (for a couple of months) will boost natural levels of progesterone and help control depression, hot flashes, and a vaginal dryness.

Taken from information provided by distributor of the product.

One other thing to consider is that elevating your natural progesterone levels will act as a natural estrogen antagonist. Meaning essentially that you will inhibit estrogen related problems such as gyno. In my opinion in many cases where vitex was used with success, the problem was more related to circulation estrogen even when anti-estrogen drugs fail, that still does not mean that estrogen is not the problem. The liver, when under stress, will take a substantially longer time to eliminating circulating estrogen. (I.E. Anabolic Steroid use). The endocrine system is very tricky and all underlying factors must be considered when trying to manage an endocrine problem. Flooding your system with synthetic and natural hormones has a cascading effect across the whole system.
