I think it might be ok with the delt but i would go 1" in the delt not long enough imo for the quad. Dont be a girly man get that 1.5" javelin and stick that shit.

There is less pain post injection when compound is deep into muscle tissue.

The injection itself might be slighlty more painful w/ a longer pin, but once the skin is pierced then it really doesn't matter how long the pin is.

A slighlty more painful injection is better then being sore for a few days.
