So fucking what?
They can look at whatever they want on my computer- As long as the record companies don get a dime from me Im happy....Thats what they get for price gouging us...

I'm so sick of this type of crap happening!!! They are so sneaky! It's like they are raping my computer, putting stuff on it that I never agreed to.

If you deny the outgoing traffic on your firewall it's not an issue.

But if I denied all the outgoing traffic then I wouldn't be able to share any of my music right?

The thing that really bugs me about this is I'm sick of having programs being installed on my machine without me knowing about it. Call me anal retentive but I like to know exactly what is on my machine and what is running in the background without having to worry about checking to see if some stealth program is running in the background hogging up memory on my computer.

Not ALL, simply the traffic you choose to deny, like ad sharing.

Fuck Kazaa. If you like the type of fast program like the former Morpheus or Kazaa get Grokster. Second I prefer WinMx and they don't put any spyware on your computer.

Sorry I'm no computer genius by any means, but can someone explain to me what's wrong with Kazaa?

I used to use it a looooooonnngg time ago. What's the prob? Did it screw up my comp somehow?
Click on those links in the first post to read more about it. Basically when you installed Kazaa on your computer, it installed other programs on your computer as well. They are probably not screwing up your computer. The issue is one of privacy and disclosure of just what you have installed on your machine and whether you have agreed to it or not. It's similar to Real Jukebox and how they were able to find out what kind of music you listen to and what CDs you play on your computer for market research purposes, personally, I do not wish to involuntarily participate in anything I have not agreed to participate in.

There's another version of Kazaa out there called Kazaa Lite without the spyware. I'm curious if it's distributing this new trojan as well.

Yea, they could probably code the spyware directly into the main Kazza file. Im curiouse as to why they didnt do that in the first place.

I tried to get rid of the new Morpheus version, so i went to the programm manager and removed it , but the rdxr020305.dat still keeps on appearing. Can someone tell me how to get rid off it?

Stop your whining people, I found these instructions.

1. In the Windows Control Panel, select an option called "Add/Remove Programs." One of the options will be "b3d Projector." Highlight this and click the "Change/Remove" button.

You may get a message that the uninstall has been successful. Search your computer for a "BDE" folder, which most likely will be found in the "WinNT" or "Windows" directory. In this folder will be a file called "bdeclean.exe". Run this to finish the first part of the process. Delete the BDE folder.

Caution: An unrelated piece of software called Borland Database Engine also creates a BDE directory. If you think you may have this software installed, or if there is any confusion whatsoever, do not delete this directory.

2. In the "Temp" directory (this will normally be found inside the "Windows" or "WinNT" directory) is a folder called "Brilliant." This contains many files. Delete the entire folder.

3. After performing steps 1 and 2, you will need to locate and remove some additional Brilliant Digital files that have been placed in critical system-level computer directories. CAUTION: Deleting the wrong files could interfere with the normal functioning of your computer. These files will most likely be in the "Windows\System" or "WinNT\System32" folder:

bdedownloader.dll
bdedata2.dll
bdefdi.dll
bdeinsta2.dll
bdeinstall.exe
bdesecureinstall.cab
bdesecureinstall.exe
bdeverify.exe
bdeverify.dll

Delete these files.

I tried that already, but i didn´t find that BDE folder the brilliant folder or any of these listed in step 3 ( used the windows search button and searched the complete hd)

using Ad-Aware you'll be able to find all that BDE crap :)

I´m already using adaware regularly, it doesn´t get that little bugger.
Regurlarly that rdxr020305.dat keeps on appearing on my desktop, despite my efforts to get rid of it.
