ok, we are done with offense unless you people wish to talk about the trench guys... we will talk about complete offensive lines soon enough,... on to bigger and better things,

DL's... the best tackle in the game is obviously warren sapp... so i will leave him be...

corey simon- yep, the eagles!!! best young tackle, he is gonna be a force, jerome brown part deux... the guy is fast and strong and sheds blockers like snake skin... awesome vs. the pass and the run... great pass rush from a DT position is great to have...

new orleans saints deffensive line:overall best in the nfl. have depth too, whitehead and smith. my opinion anyway.

If Kevin Carter stays enthused and into the game (which I think will happen) then he and Jevon Kearse will be unstoppable especially with the return of Josh Evans providing he doesn't get introuble again.

Also the La'roi Glover, Joe Johnson, Norman Hand, Darren Howard with a year under there belt playing together is going to be scary.

what about darrell russel hes more dominant than cory simon and makes the raiders defense pretty nasty.
also if ur talkin all around d lines new orleans is probly top but dont forget the ravens thast a nasty line
they may even be better than the saints d line
bruce smith seemed pretty dominant last year given his age, as always john randle is unstoppable,
out fo the rookies i would expect justin smith to do real good this year and jamal reynolds has the ability to be the next bigger and stronger jevon kearse

ok, i got some more time here..

tampa's DL has two incredible talents... sapp claims he will get the all time sack record this year for a season... at DT??? hahaha, no way... but, simeon rice is gonna push 15 sacks seeing how much attention sapp gets.

i've never been a fan of ROBERT PORCHER, despite the fact he has went to the prowbowl.. he is a moron and makes some ignorant plays... late hits, high hits, etc... far too many... and luther ellis??? he should just put on a skirt and become a full time cheerleader.

eagles have a solid 3 and if their fourth plays well, whoever it ends up being, they will be a top 5 line... simon and douglas are both awesome... they have a run stopper shaped as a bowling ball in hollis thomas... the other end spot is a toss up right now but they drafted derick burgess for his pass rushing ability... i personally think he is gonna be a passing down guy, use his speed...

the titans have an incredible line now.. carter and kearse coming from the edge... thats trouble!!! who do you double team? evans should be ready to go, hell the fucker has had off since the superbowl 1.5 years ago and thats a lot of juice time, god knows he was all about that. they have depth too... since ford and fisk were starters last year they should be very good...

saints are awesome up front on defense.. and its a good thing too cuz their corners are NOT real good... average at best but the pressure up front makes them look much better.

cardinals have NOBODY left from that awesome front four they had a few years ago... HAHA!!!

the ravens front is good too, of course.. but their playmakers are the lb's... each and every one is fucking awesome, but thats for tomorrow or wednesday to talk about...

ready for this one? CLEVELAND BROWNS- they just signed waren, their top pick... he and orpheus roiy, keith makenzie and last years pick courtney brown!!! look out teams!!! they got a solid front!!!!

aite mb time to start an argument lol
aite first off carter, talent yes but he has to get his head on right u gotta see how he takes the switch he played ass last year.
kearse is overated as a d end. the teams have adjusted to his speed and now target him. he will be good but not nearly like his first year he is too small and weak, so fischer will have to put him on outside more and even have him as lb a few plays and switch him around so the o doenst kno whats coming.
simeon rice 15 sacks hell no. sapp will draw a double team, but i think simeon will only get 10 tops my prediction tho he gets better each year.
porcher is odd if he wants he can dominate a game, but he also can cost a game with his stupidity, nevertheless still a top de
cleveland browns d line will be ok not solid tho. courteney brown is still young and he has a long way to being good tho he has the ability. i like hte guy they drafted good speed for his size, he will primarily be a run stopper tho i think.

Sapp is the most dominant force now. Corey Simon had a great rookie year and has great potential, let's see more of him and Leroi Glover, who had an incredible year last year. Outside Jevon Kearse has more speed and athleticm than any DE to ever put on a helmet, he could use some more bulk against the run, but I think he is the premeir end right now. Jason Taylor has a lot of ability as well, especailly rushing the passer. It's hard to find Defensive lineman righ tnow who are both adept at stopping the run and rushing the passer. Most of them either specialize in one or the other. Bruce Smith and Reggie White will be the measuring stick of which they will all be sized up against, Bruce is old now, but I don't really see any of these young guys with quite the same amount of talent as Smith and White.

kearse is a stud... he IS strong enough to battle and that mother fucker chases down wideouts 15 yards down field!!! carter was fucked over last year... the second the team had problems (defense week 1-17) it was kevin this, kevin that... he got so fucked up in the head he ended up benched... he has something to prove now, and if the guy has a chip on his shoulder with his talent... i wouldnt want to be the guy who he blind sides.

as for taylor... they lost someone up front so he is gonna get more double teams and wont be quite as good, but he was paid so he better earn it... if he has a bad year the fish are in trouble...

no they arent. The D line is still loaded mb. By the way, people need to mention JT and Trace Armstrong a little more, two of the top 3 sack leaders last year in the AFC. Doesn't get much better then that. The defense is a complete unit, it doesn't rely on any one player. They had a good sacking year last year, the past years, in which they still were one of the best, they didn't tally up as many sacks. They will be fine.

J. Randle is a preety good D-tackle...

Tony Siragusa is preety good too... 340 pounds of momentum, that's hard to stop no matter how strong you are :D

hell yeah..i'm a huge John Randle fan...he is nasty...ever heard his shit on NFL films when they record what he says in the trenches? He says some psycho shit..he's a bad muhfucka for real

Here's some controversy

MB, you are so biased for Philly, they are good, have a top 10 unit defensively, but it isn't the DLine, it is the secondary, and then the Dline......and D Staley is okay, but not a top 10 rback. D Mac is the real deal at QB, but you (fans in Philly booed when they selected him) fickle assholes........You guys still can't beat the Giants (though I hope you do), and don't bag on my Cowboys, I know up close and personal they suck! :D :D If W Sapp would get his weight under control, and conditioning, he would be the most dominant lineman in the game.......having S Rice is only going to help him and their defense. If B Johnson just does at least what he did in Washington, they could easily duplicate what the Ravens did.

poppa, i am biased towards the eagles.. i say shit like 16-0... but you know what? this year, i believe it all.. they have an awesome defense... top d in the nfc... compare it to tampa or nyg or NO, they are more solid across the board... tampa has the best single defensive lineman of the group, saints perhaps the best interior line, giants are super solid... and the eagles are solid.. i do believe its the secondary that sets them apart from the bucs and the others in the nfc... brian dawkins is a mad man, he attacks the ball... that entire defense does... i like my chances if the person i worry about most is bobby taylor, a pro bowler.

anyway... how can you say duce wasnt a top 10 back? he was 3rd in rushing in the nfc two straight years..(i think)... he was the entire team also, single handedly controlled the offense before mcnabb was ready...

oh, and when their is a talent like ricky williams, a guy who shattered record after record... and a "scrambling" qb with a strong arm available... its the smart choice to take the rb, the qb is hit or miss.. fortunately, dmac is gonna end up a hit... look at cinci, they got a dmac like guy and he is gonna be watching kitna this year, and who knows where he will end up in the future... dmac could have easily ended up like smith....

john randle WAS a great player... he STILL is fun as hell to listen to... he hasnt been the dominant guy he was since henry thomas split out of minny... this year he should have a good year seeing how his new team has some awesome vets on defense... they could have an angry ass defense... kirkland is a monster at LB.

MadB

Uh, nope your secondary is no better all around than Tampa's secondary......their linebkrs are better, and their dline is better....though the former is about the same as yours.......and their corners are helped by that awesome pass rush. Dmac was always better than A Smith, Smith just had raw talent, not developed at all in running an offense, so he struggles....he needs a good QB coach (Norv Turner), and a nice pair of receivers.....to develop D Staley has to prove himself after the injury......yea, I retract, he is top ten barely. Losing MM will hurt your depth, but not much. :D

Tampa Bay's defense has the POTENTIAL to be the best in the league. However, they have a tendency to give up when the offense struggles, whereas the RAvens D steps up. Simeon Rice should find new life on Tampa's DLine, giving them 4 potential 10+ sack guys, which would be incredible. Their linebacking corp is a question mark. With Derrick Brooks (who is the 2nd best lb in the league and best against the pass), it is strong. Without him (he is holding out) it is weak. Their secondary is strong, they have good corners, and hard hitting safeties. Sometimes, their corners, Barber and Abraham, seem to lack concentration, however.

The Ravens Defense is just downright scary, I won't even get into that.

hmm, bucs secondary better? i think not... taylor and vincent have both gone to the probowl as eagles, dawkins has too.. damon moore is a run stuffer now, he started slow but came into his own last year...

the bucs have lynch who is good and hits hard, but abraham and barber equals or better than taylor and vincent? NOT A CHANCE

ask tony dungy what he thought of the eagles last year.. or shaun king, if he remembers.

duce is alright but he will be nothing anymore. i talked to him 3 weeks ago and he said the knee is feeling fine, but i dont personally think it will be back to what it was remember terrel davis thats what were gonna see happen. eagles should be pretty solid, and i think their linebacking core is unreal tho they might not be all great names. the o line will be the difference if they can have a good year the eagles good take it all

Courtney Brown is going to be awesome this year and for years to come. He had an awesome rookie year and DL's tend to improve greatly their sophomore year.

Chicago has made some awesome additions to their middle this year. Keith Traylor and Ted Washington are going to be plugging up holes in the middle and Brian Urlacher is going to have a field day. If you thought Urlacher's rookie year was impressive, just watch what he does this year with the 2 slabs of beef up front. Washington is like 6'5 360lbs and was a probowler 3 out of the last 4 years. Traylor is 6'4 330 and is a solid player. Urlacher and Washington will be probowlers this year.

I'm a big Courtney Brown fan. He will be a force to be reckoned with for years to come. Warren Sapp, nuff said. jevon keare and kevin Carter should have huge years ,cant double team both of ums. Big Willie Roaf, and Tony Boselli are all world too.
