Deca Question

I read the thread saying that deca can last in your system about a year as an average. I know this might seem like a stupid question but since it lasts that long does it still have any effect on you?

Does it have even a tiny effect on a person for gains if deca is still floatin around in your body for that long?

It doesnt "last" that long but can be detected for along time, not sure exactly, but it is many many months. Detectable and usefull are way different things. Andorgen levels diminush to substandard levels after about 3-4 weeks after last injection or so.

the year figure is for how long the metabolites can be detected. this is not dependent on the length of the ester as much as the degree to which the lipid-soluble substrate sticks around...i.e, Winstrol, which has a very short half-life can be detected over 2 months out now because the body hangs onto and stores some of the metabolites. This means that you could shoot nandrolone phenyl-prop and you might still be screwed at a drug test a year later.

The level of deca durablin in the blood though, due to the long ester, will be at an HPTA inhibitive (while not enough to give gains) dose for longer though. This is why there have been alot of posts about ending cycles with shorter acting esters or orals so that you can be sure your system is clear when you hit the clomid.

Deca was great while I was on it. But the after effects have sucked!! It has been 9 weeks since my last shot and my test levels are very low around 133, that shit shuts you down in a BIG way. Clomid has not helped at all to restore my natural test levels. I did not have a single problem with Deca Dick during the cycle but now I can not get it up 70% of the time. AAUUGHH!! DECA IS THE DEVIL
