dealing with a cold or flu while on cycle

just wondering who has any experiences with dealing with being sick during a cycle. there are some nasty colds and sinus infections going around where I live and a lot of people from my gym are catching it. (and unfortunately thanks to a moron who didn't clean up i touched someones sweat and believe i caught it)

my question is what do you do when you get it? do you sit out for a week from going to the gym or working out? or do you just deal with it and work out anyway?

do you keep on injecting like normal or do you take a break until you feel better?

obviously being sick also its gonna be harder to eat as much food as you have to.

ie/ I currently have the nastiest of sinus infections and haven't been able to workout for a week, much less sleep, eat very much. coughing up yellow phlegm and some blood also. and sadly I've lost 6-7 pounds this week which really ticks me off. I'm sure i've also lost 10 pounds off my bench.

what are some of your experiences and how you dealt with this?

I just work through it. Last year, on the last month of my cycle, I had very bad bronchitis, and an extremely high fever. I worked through it though. Probably not smart, but it had to be done. I only took three days off to allow the anti-biotics to start working. After that, though, I hit the gym hard. I puked a few times in between sets. I stayed with my cardio as well even though I could hardly breath. Going through things like that only make you stronger. Not just physically, but mentally too.

If its just a head cold like cough or sneeze suck it up... if its the flu or your bodies taking a beating for gods sake take a week off! And shakes are your friend if you have no appetite...

Just got over a nasty cold/mild flu myself mid way thru my cycle. Missed 6 days man but I'm back on the horse and stronger than before so no worries. Just keep u diet in check and u'll be fine.

take some echinacea with golden seal..its a great herb that helps strengthen your immune system...AAS can weaken your immune system, so its good to add to your supplement regimen
